We will read and discuss each section. We will make a chart as a class using the steps in the book for making decision then each student will make an individual chart on a specific decision.

Literary Term- Setting

Using anchor chart as a visual cue, students will be able to answer questions about the setting of a story that is read aloud in class.

Complete daily journal entry (10 minutes)

Monday: Add notebook for 4 types of sentences entry

Tuesday:Continue from Monday, check for understanding

Wednesday: Review 4 types of sentences, relate real life examples, discuss expectation of sentences and structure * bookmark online resources

Thursday: Review from previous day, complete 1.2 together in book, complete WS over 4 types independently

Thursday & Friday: continue with types of sentences

Algebra 1

Week of August 29 – September 2

Monday: Chapter 1.1 The Number Line – add number line notebook entry, number line activity on wipeboard

Tuesday: Review from previous day, discuss positive and negative integers on visual number line, work several examples as class, 8 independent problems

Wednesday: Add sentence description to notebook, keywords for positive and negative integers

Thursday & Friday: continue with numerical and word forms of positive and negative integers

Geometry

Week of August 29 – September 2

Monday: Chapter 1.1 Points, Lines, and Planes – add vocabulary journal entry to notebook, use page 4 to give definitions and examples

Tuesday: Review from previous day, work page 5 together, complete WS independently

Wednesday: 1.5 Congruent Line Segment – add entry to notebook, work examples together

Thursday: continue information from previous day, work even problems together, odd problems (independent work)

Friday: Complete Exe 1&2

English 3/4
